The Thrive Programme changed this lady's life - helped her with emetophobia, anxiety, alcohol issues

Lisa suffered from severe emetophobia for years. It was really challenging to deal with on a daily basis - even simple social occasions such as going out for dinner lead to huge anxiety about what to eat and if it would make her ill. Going to the cinema meant sitting on the end of a row, always, in case she had to run out and be ill.

She also starved herself regularly when she couldn't face eating and once lost two stone in two months. Life wasn't great and wasn't sleeping properly either, along with being constantly anxious.

With her panic attacks getting worse, Lisa eventually started drinking and was consuming a lot on a daily basis just to stay calm and get some sleep. This got worse when her grandma passed away and she lost her job. Her self-esteem got worse and she put on weight.

After contacting Rob Kelly - founder of The Thrive Programme - Lisa got hold of a copy of the Cure Your Emetophobia & Thrive book and worked through the programme, eventually going to a Thrive boot camp in a bid to cure herself. It worked and Lisa is now sober and free of emetophobia. She's loving life and is now sleeping through the night for the first time in year - well done Lisa!
