Raglan Castle | Exploring Monmouthshire Wales

Raglan Castle is a ruined castle which still evokes the magnificence and grandeur from it's hey day.

The castle looms over the A40, one of the trunk-roads connecting the Welsh towns of Abergavenny and Chepstow with the borders of England.

Raglan has a rather checkered history – it started life, in late Medieval times, as a real fortified castle. However, being built during a peaceful period in the English/Welsh border wars, it didn’t see much military action. As a result, it evolved into a breathtakingly beautiful Tudor manor-house.

This is our very first castle explore video and I don't think we could of picked a better castle to explore due the it's majesty. We do hope you enjoy watching.

What a fantastic tour, the narration, drone shots, history, scale of the castle and seeing you both enjoy yourselves was EPIC. I fell completely in love with Raglan when we went there a few years ago, hoping to revisit as so much was cut off due to the pandemic, especially the great tower, which when watching it was SO cool seeing Teresa inside the tower, how majestic. Love the way you've filmed, the music and your drone shots. Thank you again for reminding me how incredible Raglan is.
