Girl protein for a sweet tooth is no joke. I would never believe it, but thanks to you I've tried it. I'm amazed. ZERO craving for sweets or carbs going on 2 weeks now. Before eating sufficient protein, I can't even remember a time when I wasn't craving sugar and bread. Now sweets can be right in front of me and I don't even want it. Thank you for all your videos.

Well said Autumn. I'm an amateur expert, and forwarded this to my gf who's stepping up her diet and exercise regimen based on the principles you explained.
So much bad information out there, i hooe your audience grows.😊

*Not just for body builders
*Can’t get enough protein from a “varied diet”
*Most effective tool for weight loss
*Don’t use the scale to measure progress
*Protein on apps not correct
*Hard to eat too much protein
*Protein must be split evenly throughout the day
*Exactly how much protein I need
*The right protein powder makes hitting your goals much easier
*You need to hit the protein goals to benefit from exercise

Such an eye-opener at 5:08! I never thought of it that way.

I LOVE the honey crisp apple cottage cheese bowl! 😋 Yum!!

It can be hard to eat a lot of protein in one sitting. I tried having 4 eggs in a dish instead of 3 eggs once, and I couldn't finish it. 🙃 I learned that day that 3 eggs is satisfying enough for me to last 4 hours between meals, and that's what my body needs. 😊

Thanks again for a great, informative video, Autumn. ❤

You are truly the best. Thank you for all the advice, and also, that protein calculation is so helpful. You literally never fail to bring some of the best, no BS nutrition advice on YouTube. I started intermittent fasting and eating more protein and being more aware of what I eat years ago thanks to you, and I'll continue to follow your advice all the way x

Yes, protein is so important, and so is the fat! I have seen AMAZING health benefits at 71 from going keto, then carnivore! Am no longer type 2 diabetic, my fibromyalgia pain and chronic fatigue syndrome is SO MUCH better, and I am off 7 of my 11 long term prescriptions!! I am finally enjoying LIFE again!! GO PROTEIN!! But my body cannot handle the oxalates in the veggies! I really appreciate and enjoy your videos!! God bless you! ❤🤗🙏🙏

Thanks for the important information on protein and connecting the dots towards losing fat and not muscle. Nice to see your Autumn Bates Store. Have a great day Autumn. 💪❤️🇨🇦

I took about 6 months to lose 12 pounds of fat. I retained a lot of my muscle mass. I was lean when I started but wanted to get down to 10-12 percent body far. I achieved that, but really struggled with sleep, with high energy activity like cycling. I took two weeks off and my sleep returned, my fitness performance just “felt” better. I really like the concept of high protein but also suggest if you are an athlete, you may need to be sure you are keeping carbs higher and getting them from the right sources. BTW, I am 61 years old, athlete for life but with severe arthritis in my left hip and I had heart surgery two years ago. If I can do this… you can.

So facts. I had the same scale experience and my body was recomping. I just kept the faith and looked in the mirror.

Thanks Autumn. Great information. I’m an active 60 yo male and my goal is 160 grams of protein per day. Ive been doing intermittent fasting for a couple of months and I have steadily lost weight, but my challenge is I can’t get enough protein in between 11:00 and 8:00.

I previously heard that too much protein can be harmful, but from experience I can say it's not. Also I get enough protein without protein powder (almost all from animal products).

Long story short, out of nowhere, I gained fifteen pounds. I'm in my third or fourth month of changes to diet (less sugar, more protein) and increased exercise and have not lost pound 1. All I can say is the 36" waist pants I had to buy when I hit 185 feel loose, now that I cut down on sweets and added protein, so I guess your point about fat reduction applies. But my scale's still on Groundhog Day, and I see you went through the same. Thanks for this video.
