REALLY good drummer! I've been in music over 50 years- 40+ professionally and I still can't get over how a huge percentage of musicians have such fragile 'hurt baby' ego's that they have to knock everything- the player, the set, the THAT'S why I refer to many of you as 'posers'... Your always thinking, 'Nah... I'll wait for a REAL opportunity' or 'I wouldn't play THAT music' or 'I'll make it big doing it MY way' or some other B.S. nonsense and most of you don't get anywhere... you just fade away... This video convinced me to seriously consider this set for a specific purpose, and the drummer is top notch!

thank you guys for this great demo of the Strike Pro! Finally we get to hear a good recording of decent length going through some of the more realistic kits..even the funky electronica kits you chose were excellent choices.. cymbals and hi-hat sounded a lot better than what we've heard in other vids previously. I'm Impressed with Alesis if their kit can be optimized to sound like this.. heard a lot of comments so far that some of the kits aren't living up to the hype but this video may help show us all what this set can do. Great job guys!

Everyone that's saying this kit sucks and Roland's are superior, you have to remember, to get a Roland kit of this size would easily run you $6, 000+, this kit is a little over $2, 000 if I remember correctly. Sure the quality isn't comparable to a Roland kit, but it's infinitely cheaper.

I LOVE the look of the Alesis and also the sound. Had a horrible experience with misses on cymbals on the cheaper version of this kit though and just can't go back. I went Roland on my next kit but when I upgrade it'll be Alesis again. I just love drums from all manufacturer's and you all should respect them as well. Without Roland, Yamaha, and Alesis duking it out we'd have much worse kits in general.

Roland please make your kits beautiful like Alesis.

Alesis please work on your trigger and cable quality.

Yamaha learn from the other two. Lol.

as an owner i notice a few flaws in the system but honestly the amount of drums you get for the price makes up for it the dynamics are not as good as a roland kit but still good enough to make things work
