I was surprised that DS9 could stand up so well to that phaser lance.

I wish the Galaxy X class had functional disruptors on top. Would be cool to see every weapon system working.

DS9 destroyed several klingon birds of prey, 2 katinga and 2 vorcha class attack cruisers with photon torpedoes alone. In the domionion attack DS9 destroyed several dominion attack ships and a Galor class cruiser. In both attacks it took 2 different fleets just to bring down the stations shields.

Might have been good idea to keep out of tractor range and move around more I'm thinking... also the Upgraded Domion War Era DS9 would have smoked that Galaxy X shields held off a joint Cardy & Dominion fleet while yeeting torps like they had an infinite supply

Well, the Galaxy is basically a mobile starbase, and the X is more advanced than DS9, being from the future. So I expected this one to be close.

Given the 22 year newer Ent-D was expected to casually demolish 4 Ent-C era Romulan Warbirds, I think this was a slightly underwhelming showing but the right end result. For a late 24th century cap ship vs the DW era DS9.

An interesting match-up, as both were altered to prepare for war against a Federation enemy, albeit one for an averted future dystopia.

When fighting DS9 I've beaten it with basically everything that isnt a shuttle. Stay at long range and take out the stations sensors. when that happens the station will spam fire all weapons along the hardpoints central point in their respective arcs. once that is done just sit in between those points and fire until the station dies.

Had that been weighted more accurately, DS9 would have smoked Riker’s GalX pretty quickly.
