Premier League referee David Coote has been sacked by the PGMOL after an investigation into his conduct. The 42-year-old was initially suspended after videos, which remain unverified, appeared to show Coote calling former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp an "absolute cant" in addition to other derogatory comments. An independent investigation into Coote's conduct was launched by the FA, with PGMOL now confirming that his employment as a referee has been terminated with immediate effect.
