Donald Trump has never been a fan of Zelenskyy, but now his administration is reportedly working with Ukrainian opposition leaders to push him out of power. According to Politico, this could mark a major shift in U.S. involvement in Ukraine’s domestic politics—is America now interfering while also forcing Ukraine’s submission to Putin?

We speak with CNN Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour, who has spent time with Zelenskyy, to get her insights.

Meanwhile, European leaders gather in Brussels—but what do they have to offer Ukraine? Have they already accepted what Keir Starmer hasn’t—that America can no longer be trusted?

🚨 What happens next for Ukraine? Watch now to find out.

"America is trying to stage a coup against the duly elected president of Ukraine" ... i dunno, that sounds kinda familiar

Wouldn’t be the first time the United States have forced out a duly elected leader of a sovereign state, would it?

Perhaps, it will make Britain come to its senses, and realise where its interests lay, not in this so-called special relationship, but on our doorstep, Europe.

Sacking the New Zealand ambassador was ridiculous for such comments.

Putin hasn't got rid of Zelensky in years of trying. Hopefully his American quisling won't either.

I am American. I am ashamed of the actions and inactions of my government. I furthermore bear unfortunate news:

Most Americans, including many who do indeed support continued assistance to Ukraine (an absolute majority, by the way - so please don't paint us all with a single brush) do not understand the gravity of Trump's diplomatic tantrums.

When you say that our disintegrating relationship with Europe is backpage news, I fear you're being generous. Most Americans have never visited Europe. To many, it's simply a faraway place with socialized medicine, strict if not absolute gun control, a lot of old buildings, and absolutely no need at all for pick-up trucks. The lack of understanding of History here is shocking.

For the duration of that madman's tenure, I encourage our once and (hopefully) future friends to leave the door open to renewed amity and sincere contrition.

There are others of his mindset. They number fewer than you think, as most of his most vocal acolytes are either cowards, opportunistic toadies, or both. But none possess his hold on the national electorate.

Do what you must. Resist and defy him at every turn. Boycott American products. Stop exports to us. Don't use American services or consume American popular culture. Isolate us completely. Put him on an island.

In two years time, a new Congress will hopefully be elected - one that will bring him to book, and hopefully remove him. And who knows? He's an old, obese man in obvious physical decline. Clogged arteries and blood clots may well do God's work for us all.

Thank you for eighty years of partnership and friendship.

It was all ok when we did it to other countries. Now it’s being done to us. Embarrassing

The UK needs to stop behaving like a woman who has suddenly found her husband to be abusive. ie maybe it will pass, maybe he's having a bad day, maybe it won't happen again etc, or worse still, if I do this, if I do that, if I say this, if I say that, if I'm doubly nice etc. We all know what those women should do, leave the relationship. The UK needs to leave the US relationship.

CBC the Canadian broadcaster did one of those programmes where they talk to people on the street in a US and a Canadian city either side of the border. While all Canadians knew about the tariffs and the trade war, they struggled to find anyone on the US side who even knew tariffs had been imposed on Canada or were aware of the anger it had created in Canada.

Why does no one talk about Maidan 2014? The coup is great if it matches their narrative

Every time I listen to your podcast I end up with the same question: are you still surprised how evil and how dumb some persons in power can be?

This relationship with America is becoming abuse, Starmer needs to move towards Europe, the Brits do not want to be in the same bucket as the US!

There isnt any candidate who would win a fair and open vote who'd accept capitulation on Russia's terms. The polls show that being forced into 'peace' on Russia's terms is massively unpopular. You'd simply replace Zelensky with someone who had basically the same opinion.

Zaluzhnyi is beloved in Ukraine and would win in a landslide if he stood

The only difference between Trump and his predecessors is that he says it out loud. Regime change is standard operating procedure for them
