how do i go about reinstalling my deleted call of duty documents folder

i dont even have the config files and i get 33 files failed to validate and the game doesnt open

How do you edit it though? I have notepad+ but seems like a different't file type than other games. Thanks.

Can I directly finish campaign with the save game from a friend without ban?

Would it make sense to transfer the MW Save and config File locations from MW1 to MW2 when i freshly bought MW2?
Or would this break the game?
