Clean Boost & Overdrive Shane's DIY Pedal

This is a Clean Boost (switch up) and Overdrive (switch down).

This is the first pedal I have put together myself. This includes sourcing drilling and sanding the pedal enclosure as well as putting all the components on the circuit board and wiring up the true bypass switch. This was a great experience and I plan on making more types of pedals down the track.

I'm in Oz and made my first pedal thanks to Pauls videos. I then modified the circuit and have great success. Thanks to you both. The boost optional dirt is my fifth pedal

That sounds superb!
Better than most od's sounds. It's just so pure and amp like.
Great work shane!

So to my ears that sounds as good as any OD pedal you've Demo's better than most.

Nice job, Shane... maybe you could share the specs and build info for the rest of us. You might want to call it "Shane's Gain".

I think it sounded great... As the previous comment said, very natural. I also love the tone of that ?Corvino?.. the Tele semi hollow. Really nice snarl.

Great job. Very nicely boxed aswell. Be aware... DIY-ing can become very addictive. Before you know it you'll have a room full of pedals and circuitboards lying around ;)

Cool pedal and demo! As a fellow lefty guitarist, I can surely say that you have some awesome guitars. You should name your pedal The Transformer. It looks like one and sounds like it's got a transformer's level of voltage as well!

What schematic did you use? Just getting into breadboarding and clean boost. As a couple of clipping diodes and you get a little dirt right? Nice video.
