five months later and I'm finally ready to share my story from Pan Am Games. Dealing with disappointment is nothing new but when I feel like I failed at such a big event it was a hard pill to swallow. I'm sharing this now because I've come to terms with what happened and realized its all part of the journey. I know that one day I'll look back on all of this and realize just how special it really was.

I know exactly how you feel, I was also at the pan ams - I’m a sailor from Bermuda and I had a similar situation after the pan ams at the world championships and with a great support system round me I was able to get through and move onto the next just like you seem to have as well!

That shit just happens sometimes, tough to go through but you come out better afterwards. How is the team feeling going into Pan Ams this year? It looks like olympic qualifications will be tight for both teams, the men's side looks really really tight.
