The f-22 may be out of production, but we have more than 7 that are combat capable.

It also comes down to range.

The F-22 is stealthier and is better at BVR fights, while the Su-57 was designed as a hig-off bore sight Fox 2 dogfighter.

Su-57 may have "good" technology but there's only 7 of em combat ready. The Russians aren't even deploying them in Ukraine because a SAM would probably shoot it down but they probably wouldn't have deployed it because they may be lying about the amount of combat ready SU-57.

The F-22 is quite literally thousands of times less detectable than the SU-57 and has better technology despite being decades older. It simply wouldn’t be able to get a lock on the F-22. The F-22 pilot would have to literally be just asleep for that to happen.
