I know what you mean by the gearbox, my old S8 had that same feeling, after 80mph it was a steady climb to 150 with absolute ease. I can only imagine how this feels with all that extra horsepower

I love this generation of S-Class! By far the best seats they ever put in an S-Class, especially the designo ones in AMGs.
But personally I'd take an S350/400 from that Era over anything more powerfull from this lineup.
The S65 V12 is a legend though.

Big 12 cylinder with turbo never disapoint. The W12 bi-turbo of the continental gt have the same feeling, it keep going for ever.
It's really something that we europeans have to be proud of, americans only have 8 cylinders 😂😂

Yeah, it feels like accelerates faster after the shift cause the maximum torque probably is in 4.5/5k revs

O întrebare, eu pe golful meu am o altă cutie decât cea originală, DPF-ul mai poate sa isi faca regenerarea? În treapta a-5-a, din cauza softului și diferentelor mecanice, în bord nu-mi mai apare că e în treapta respectivă, iar dupa ceva timp imi da eroare pe start-stop si ACC. Cutia nouă este mai lungă decât cea originală si motorul sta mai puțin turat, dar dacă merg la turația minimă pentru regenerare aceasta funcționează indiferent? E o situație ciudată, in curand o sa o montez pe cea originală, după reparație.
