Is it just the women? Can men wear short sleeves or are they expected to wear longer sleeves?

Because dress codes for men are perfectly fine, but asking a woman to follow a similar dress code is sexist.

It's your own fault when you elect people to give up your rights

What is it about the endless RIGHTS demand. And nothing about responsibility?

Why are men expected to wear long sleeve or short sleeve shirts and women are not? Someone please explain this to me?

For the guys wearing a $1000 suit is a statement of class distinction. No way in hell will you see them without their Armani

In keeping with the CBC narrative about “oppression of women” they neglected to even mention the dress code that applies to men. The CBC wants us to assume the dress code for men allows shorts, sandals and tank tops for men. Just more shoddy reporting from CBC.

With greater responsibilities comes higher standards of operation and stricter social norms.
Which is why judges don't work in a T-shirt and shorts.
Dress codes are there to represent those higher standards, not only to the public, but to co-workers, and to remind everyone that what they're doing must be taken seriously, because they're making decisions that affect the lives of millions of people.

If men are supposed to dress in suits, then women should be held to a standard too. That being said, who gives a sht, aslong as its tasteful, who cares what they wear.

Work isnt a playground. Dress appropiately and have respect for yourself, coworkers, and the business. That green haired loon is what you get when feminists enter the workforce. Rules have to be bent for them.

Women want to be equal to men, so put on a goddam suit and tie. It's pathetic how people think they don't have to have any class anymore and use appropriate dress. Let's just wear jeans and a hoodie to wedding or funerals. No need to show respect for anything, so long as people get to have their selfish way
