On Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi - the senior most Democrat in the House of Representatives announced the launch of an impeachment inquiry against Trump...soon after details of a phone conversation between the US president and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskiy were released. There have been accusations that Donald Trump offered aid to Ukraine in return for investigating Joe Biden, the former US vice president who is seeking the White House in 2020. The US President's actions are being viewed as being in serious violation of the Constitution... but a downbeat Donald Trump has dismissed it as a joke. Today in IN DEPTH, we'll talk about the impeachment crisis that has hit Washington.
