Redmi Note 13 Google Play Store Installation Guide

Let me show you how to install the Google Play Store and Google Play Services.

I have the Redmi Note 13 Pro here, and in today's video I'll be showing you how to install the Google Play Store, Google Play Services, and all of the other apps required to use them.

In the past, this used to be much more difficult since it required us to find and install a Google Play Store installer that was compatible with the device itself.

But that doesn't seem to be the case with the Redmi Note 13 series.
So this should work with the Pro model I have here, the regular version of the Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Noe 13 Pro+, and even the Redmi Note 13R.

And I should point out that this is the Chinese version of HyperOS as well. As seen with the CN letters included in the OS Version area.
The phone I have here is still bootloader locked too, so I there's no need to switch to another firmware at all.

To install the Google Play Store on the Redmi Note 13 series, we simply need to open the Settings application
Then we're going to scroll down to the Additional Settings area
And now scroll down again so that you can tap on the Accounts & Sync menu.

You should then see a feature called Basic Google Services
So let's tap on that
And from here, we can enable this feature so that we can use the Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Maps, Gmail and much more.

After this has been enabled, it may take a bit of time for the apps to be downloaded and installed
But be patient and you will eventually see the Google Play Store application appear on the Home Screen

After that has been installed, go ahead and log into your Google account and you can start installing apps and games from the Google Play Store application.
As mentioned, Google Play Services will also be installed and setup, which is why Xiaomi makes a note about a slight reduction in battery life.

It's just the tradeoff we must accept in order for many of these apps and games to function properly.
