27 years old, got my CDL not too long ago, finally making big boi money, and Nissan announces the new Z, the next generation of my favorite car all around. It’s like they knew! I’m gonna buy one new and I’m never going to sell it… at least until the Nismo version drops. Then I’m gonna trade it in for that and never sell it lol.

By the time I’m too old to drive it might even appreciate a bit, since it could be one of the last manual, rwd, internal combustion cars out there for less than the cost of a Porsche or Lotus.

Not to mention new tuner cars are a pain in the ass to modify in general. Mostly thinking of like audio systems and such because of how the radio/climate/setting head unit is like, super vital. Can't just slap a pioneer and swap out speakers without having to tear a bunch of stuff out and end up with trim pieces that don't fit together as they did.

I'm in my mid 30s married with an 8yr old and a girl on the way. The family life did have some effect on my car purchases through the years. I traded off my 1990 240sx for a family car and the bro tax kill my dreams of ever getting another 1. But there is still hope for me I would love to own the new nissan z someday. But for now I'm happy with my mk3 jetta that I some day want to vr swap.

Got my 2020 civic si for sticker. Full bolt on plus more. It pains me seeing them stock, those poor drivers have no idea what they are missing out on. Tbh wouldn’t buy it and keep it stock but with the right mods, car comes alive and is very unique to me.

Definitely sticking to my guns about the new Z. And when the Nismo drops? I might have to trade in for it. I might be a little off because I did like the Z33 Nismo but for some reason I just couldn't get jiggy with the Z34 Nismo.

Only new tuner cars I would want are the hatchback S3 (can't get in the states) and BRZ/GR86 I would have bought it but my car was totalled in June, so I bought my GTI. I can't trade it for the the BRZ/GR86 because even tho it's FWD, it has more potential and is more practical.
