First Gainer Balloon Jump (BASE training)

The original plan for this jump was to jump from 1k feet, perform my first gainer, and open around 200 feet. Unfortunately, the winds were high and by the time we got to 1k feet we were flying over the trees. So we took the balloon a little higher and I opened up around 400 feet to clear the trees and land safely. Overall, this jump was a lot of fun. The passengers on the balloon were great company and I hope to get some of the third person video that they shot. The guy at the end was a landscaper that I asked what he thought of the jump. He was a great sport about it and I couldn't have been more thankful. I wish my camera picked up his voice better. Thank you to my sponsors, SMX Optics and Eco Sports!
