Rob says about this in his book 'Confess' so I had to look it up. The flashlight was blinding him, Rob got pissed off and kicked the phone (Great kick too!) the chap was very apologetic and held his hand out and Rob shook it and all was well - shame that's not in the clip too.

Even though I don't like seeing all the phones out recording, as I'm old and remember when concerts were just unlit hands up, I do like that concerts are video recorded. It allows us all to see something that would otherwise be lost in time.

Just finished his book today. This incident was not exaggerated. Rob said the guy got his phone passed back and apologized and they shook hands.

Some of these phones have blindingly light flashes. Rob was probably getting blinded by this on stage.
