The Way to Oshkosh 2018 Story 2, INSANE Fly-In, Amazing Show and Fly-Out

In this series of Niko's Wings parallel episodes, I'm sharing the drama, the excitement and the feelings felt on the way to Oshkosh but also during and after Oshkosh 2018.

On this episode experience the insanity of flying into Oshkosh, trying to stay at 1,300 feet at 90 knots, thing that proved to be next to impossible. Airplanes butting-in left and right and following the NOTAM.

Don't miss the next episode coming up, about the weather, the simulator practice and the lost alternator that caused me to declare an emergency... All coming soon.

As a controller myself, it takes a very certain breed to control that Oshkosh traffic. Bravo

Wow, that became quite an epic adventure.
That traffic density into and out of Oshkosh is absolutely insane!
Thanks for taking us along with you.

I flew into Osh a long time ago for a day trip at the show, it was absolutely bonkers but awesome. I'm convinced the folks running control are professional cat-herders the rest of the year.

Niko. Best Oshkosh vid I've seen so far. Mad editing skills, a great mixture of flying, airshow, vendors (kudos for having them give us info!), arrival, departure. Just really cool. Just subscribed. Thank you.

Holy crap! That controller was on the ball! How long are their shifts? It must be really exhausting after a short time. I can’t imagine flying into that event as a novice pilot. It must be overwhelming!

Just gets my blood pumping! Bucket list Niko! Well done, and thank you for showcasing some of what is out there in equipment/technology. It is so important to support those who support us. Looking forward to the next adventure. Thanks for bringing us along.

Great situational awareness flying in to Oshkosh and stunning footage of a few events. Thanks, guys, good job and I noticed a difference with the GP Hero seemed a bit crisper. Very nice goody bag!

Nicely done! That was intense with the tower constantly in your ear and having to pay attention to all the traffic

Another great video. Niko, your videos make me really, really miss flying GA. A few more years to finish putting my kids through college and then I can hopefully return to boring holes through the sky. Keep up the videos and the excellent flying!
