Centralized applications, while trusted and widely used, implicitly carry centralized weaknesses. This is seen with companies like Facebook and Uber for example. Meanwhile decentralized applications that provide scalable solutions for data privacy are useless. The solutions to data privacy do not exist on or off the Blockchain, yet. Enigma may have some answers to these issues using 'secret contracts.'
