Kering through its Women In Motion program was proud to support the 75th edition of the Festival de Cannes.
On this occasion, we were delighted to welcome the talented and inspiring Viola Davis, Riley Keough & Gina Gammell, Clara Luciani, Mélanie Laurent, Deborah Lukumuena and Emily Yang to talk about women empowerment during their Women In Motion live Talks.
During this edition we also had the pleasure to welcome directors Luàna Bajrami, Charlotte Le Bon, Lola Quivoron and producer Claudine Nougaret, to share their experience in the cinema industry through Women In Motion Podcasts series.
Kering organized the Women In Motion dinner during which François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate of the Festival de Cannes, presented the Women In Motion Award to American actress and producer Viola Davis, who delivered a powerful speech, in the presence of the members of the Festival Jury. The Young Talent Award was given to Swedish Director Ninja Thyberg.
Women In Motion is a program by Kering launched in 2015 which shines a light on women in the arts and culture.
