Discraft DISC BATTLE! Vulture vs Anax

In the first Disc Battle of 2020 I pit the widely popular Vulture against the upstart backed by 5x World Champion Paul McBeth. Which one would I recommend above the other? You will have to watch to find out!

To keep the flight comparison fair, and ESP Vulture was used against the ESP Prototype Anax.

I had a bunch of anaxs and one was nice and worked in until I lost it. I tried a vulture for a slightly less stable anax and thats exactly what I got, no more anax in the bag. Great video!

Before ever trying a Vulture I seasoned 3 Anaxi. One each the proto, 1060, and production and started a second proto. They all started over stable but still glidey. I loved them. One by one they got more flexible as they seasoned. My first proto is almost flippy now. Definitely touchy. The production are softer and fly farther with some good flex. The swirly 1060 is the flattest and most stable still and more suited to utility and headwind drives. Since then I have switched to using an ESP Vulture for headwind drives, a swirly titanium Vulture for straighter and downwind drives, and a Z Raptor for my utility driver. Each of these gives me exactly what I need when I need it with no guesswork. I'm a Macbeth fan boy and it pains me that my Anaxi are in a box now instead if my bag, but I get better results with the Vulture and Raptor.

I had a TI Vulture that I got my first ace with. Recently threw it into a tree a local course and it disappeared. Very sad and I'm still looking for a replacement. Great video!

I'd say its worth mentioning that, the Prototype Anax has absolutely no glide and is difficult to get good distance with(Paul Mcbeth even said so himself when the First Runs came out! He said something to Brodie like "have you noticed these first run Anax's actually have glide and go far compared to the proto's") i nailed it😂. Also the proto's are slightly more stable than the Z Vulture. The first run Anax are super glidey, very much less stable and super flippy vs the Z Vulture.
