That string tree is what keeps the locking nut from going sharp when you tighten it. Im so surprised its not on there

I had a gotoh 1996 put in my razorback explosion. That led to a blowout of the post on the high e side. He never told me about the material he had to remove to put in the new posts. Buncha squeels go slack and gotoh very tilted. Took forever to get that thing fixed.omg

What bridge pickup would you personally recommend? I'm getting a dean from hell very soon and just wondering where to start. Great video here!

i mean, the only real difference between an expensive and a cheap guitar, regardless of Country of Origin, is the time and attention put into the fine details and hardware. Upgrade the hardware, give it a proper fret job and a full set up, and any guitar made these days can feel like a custom shop.

I get it, early 90s chinese copies were bad, but 90%+ of all guitars are CnC made these days, so the difference in actual build quality is minor. And before people say "well USA made guitars don't come with broken scarf joints" you're wrong, because even "top of the line" USA custom shops let guitars out of the factory that should never have gotten past QC

I honestly just switched my floyd. And i couldn't use the 37 mm block. Springs kept popping out. I keep my back off anyways but i did switch the block

Do you have a schematic of the tone control for us? Are your pots logarithmic or linear? Is a capacitor installed; for eg 22nF? Thx for an answer.

Great video. Where did you find the kiss sticker for your usa model, or did it come with it on it?

They aren't bad but the fake Floyd Rose bridge is awful and the pick ups aren't that great either. If you don't mind putting about three hundred dollars in a Chinese guitar it's not that bad the wood that it's made of has very little to do with anything in my own opinion. even if you put three hundred dollars into your guitar it's going to sound and look as good as the real thing at a fraction of the price at least you're not paying 2 grand. Schecter don't use license by Floyd Rose they use real Floyd Rose on their guitars. Schecter are the best guitars you can get.
