🇺🇸 Atlanta (ATL) Hartsfield-Jackson to Paris (CDG) Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport 🇫🇷
Initially Air France Airbus A350-900 (Business class)

⚠️ But... due to the severe delay of our Delta flight from Miami to Atlanta, We missed our connecting flight.
As a result, Delta transferred us to another flight :
🇺🇸 Atlanta (ATL) Hartsfield-Jackson to Paris (CDG) Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport 🇫🇷
Flight DL82, Delta Airlines Airbus A330-300 (very delayed too)
Business Class, Seats : 2A, 3C

⚠️ In addition, Delta lost our luggage in Atlanta.
They were returned to us 4 days later...

Thank you for sharing your trip. I worked 20 years in the airlines industry. In my experience any time you have to make a connection in a mayor hub, give at least 2 hours to change planes. And if you have to pass immigration minimum 3 hours. If you buy your ticket online instead of a travel agent, don't trust the minimum connecting times. If you have a late departure or bad weather this long time in your connection will help you to catch your plane and if you are on vacation or business or you have to take a tour or a cruise ship, your baggage will follow without problem. Remember. we can run, but our luggages can not. :)

I think Delta needs to do better connection when people are transiting in Atlanta, the airport is huge and at times one hour may not be enough to transit on international flights. I almost missed my flight last year and i had to do some exercise as i constantly heard my name being called on the intercom that the flight will be closed soon.
