I agree with Rarity's method of showing Applejack's own bad attitude in the Strawberry Sunrise scene. In the past, we had moments in the show that taught us that sometimes we have to do something very mean in order to teach a lesson.

I had the same reasons for looking forward to Honest Apple that you did.  I'm sick of people not admitting that honesty can have a negative side.

I think you are spot on with Applejack. You are also right about Pink Pony. But, the royal sisters, I feel more like Dr Wolf and sort of DWK. The other ponies would never step on royal egos the way Starlight did. She was the only pony that could go and do the job. I would also suggest that Daybraker maybe a fear of Princess Celestia because in Princess Luna brings a part of he own magic to enter into dreams. Recall in Sweetie Belle's nightmare in Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils, Princess Luna shows dolphins to Sweetie Belle at one point. Showing the stitching that Sweetie Belle should make on the head dress.

I liked A Royal Problem out of those three.

Fing thank you! I hate when people think that just because you have better handle on something means it goes away.

I really liked Honest Apple. AJ was perfectly in-character, but I still keep thinking "this is what happens when you hire someone who knows nothing about fashion to judge a fashion contest." That'd be like asking me to judge a science fair. I can appreciate their hard work, but I don't know nearly enough about science to give any useful criticism.

Like I said, I still really enjoyed it.

Watch the CMC episode "Ponyville Confidential". What they did in that episode gives a right, clear, visual example of the term "character assassination".

Something to consider is that regardless of the origin of daybreaker the ideal is now in celestia's head so it's fully possible that we will encounter this solar flare again in the future.

Rarity shredding on that guitar gave my beloved DragonForce some recognition. ^^

I find the moral of not asking for trouble confusing. It's basically, if someplace refuses to ask for help, do it behind their back

I agree on all points this video provides on all three episodes, can't wait to hear what you have to say next month ^^

I agree with you on your views of Honest Apple and honestly at first I did think Rarity was at fault but when you explained it, It DID make a lot of sense

Daybreaker may have originated from Starlight but maybe that planted the seed for Celestia's fear, hopefully that's what the season 7 finale will be.

I noticed the normal AJ poster in the background changed to a anthro Daybreaker, makes me wonder if your tastes might be changing as well.. other then that, good video as always.

The first thing I saw was that poster. Why wasn't I surprised?

You may have missed something in your review of A Royal Problem. Celestia and Luna got some character development (they were made a little more human, if you know what I mean, and we got to see Celestia as something other than a wise mentor or Princess Butterfingers), but I think Starlight Glimmer got more. She leapt before she looked, and it turned out well at the end, but for a while she was (understandably) getting freaked out about it. Daybreaker didn't originate as Celestia's fear (though arguably it struck a chord), but as Starlight's. And Twilight was Not Helping. Definitely with caps.

I completely agree with you about Honest Apple and we as confused about the negative reactions. I have wanted an episode about downsides of loyalty like there where in season 4 with generosity and kindness forever. Applejack besides has been always been somewhat stubborn and close minded in some ways so this fit her. She is not perfect. And I loved get fashion show stuff.
