I live in South Africa and I absolutely love, love the fall/winter - it's my absolute favourite time of the year. So, every time all my Northern Hemisphere YouTube peeps get ready for fall, I'm always in two minds about Spring and Summer. On the one side, I love the expectation of a new season and the sunshine (winter is our rainy season her in Cape Town), but a huge part of me gets so sad and jealous about the Northern Hemisphere getting ready for fall and winter . . . . but the thought of a New Season always lift my spirits a little!

So many parts of this video makes me think of my dad. I lost my last grandparent 2 years ago and then my dad just shockingly died 3 weeks ago, so I know the feeling of your loss. His passing has been the worst thing in my life, he left too soon, but I have faith that he is happy with God now.
Your dogs name is the same name my kids would call my dad, "Opi", even though he was technically Opa (grandpa in German). I love the way you're "being a dork" with your kids, I kept thinking I know that song she's singing! So reminds me of my dad and grandmother who sang so many of the classics and broadway songs in the kitchen. "That's Amore" was one of our favorite songs to sing together, when I was about 12 we were at a family reunion and a bee stung my bottom... so he came up with a new verse for it "when a bee stings your butt, and you feel like a nut, that's amore." my family sang it for days.
Seing you make and send the meal and flowers to your friends reminds me of all the support from family and friends who's been supporting my family through this tims. I love being reminded of him in different ways, thank you for this video it rekindled good memories for me.
