Water will not only freeze again but might get into crevices and freeze then handle/lock etc, unless you are parking in a warm garage after this, avoid.
Also get an ice scrape so you don't need to use any liquids.

Yeah water might work faster but it can also crack and break glass to and the. You be looking in to 200 to 500 doksr for new glass window

All depends on air temperature around the vehicle. Otherwise you end up with black ice around it

That water might freeze your winds or handles up

Calculate the time it takes to get the jug from cabinet run the water after getting the right temperature then walking it out not spilling it. By the time you've done that the de-icer would have time to work.
Are you gonna keep some warm water in the car for when you come back from where you went and it's froze over again?

The best de-icer I've found is living in the Arizona desert where the only ice I see is in my margaritas

Do a fair test. either put deicer in a cup and pour it as well, or add water to a spray bottle and spray.

Now see if you live in Michigan and I’m sure other northern states ya don’t fuck with any of that ya scrape just barely enough ice off to see out then ya drive and it will defrost when it defrosts lol

Use salty water, or water with sugar in it. You can use that to first melt the ice, which you can then wipe off, and then rinse with normal water so it doesn't stick, and then wipe again.

Or just go straight ahead with water of around 20 C, or around 80 degrees Fahrenheit I believe (no idea if that is accurate or not)

Simple fact of using hot water on your windshield when there's sub below zero and make them blow up too

Isn't that de-icer supposed to be sprayed on before the ice buildup so there is no need to scrape when you get to your car??

Works better if you turn the AC on, temp up, crack your window and turn the air recirculation off.

I just wait in the car, pre-warm the engine/oil a little bit and push all the defrost buttons. Would not put cold water on a cold car ever, that's asking for trouble.

Less than 3 minutes. If you feel a little adventurous, just leave some newspaper on the glass overnight.

The only fast thing is how fast you’ll break your frozen door

Hot water works best on windshields, can you make a video of that?

So you "deiced" with water and now you can't open your door. LOL
