How I wish we still had those amazing glass door topside ovens. Makes so much sense. Fantastic walk down memory lane. I remember so many of those features from my childhood. And my mother still uses her cornflower blue Corning casseroles.

I would love to see a video on decor both kitchen/bath/and living room from the 1930's-1940's, since we're hoping to restore our home, from that era, to the way it was built. Love your channel!

I still have my Corningware! Passed down from my mom. Use it all the time ♥

The ‘“beverage centers” pictured were ovens/ranges. There were no touch panel controls in the 1960’s. Just push buttons (mechanical).

Ah, that magnificent Frigidaire kitchen still is the best designed of all times. I'd love to have one updated to induction and LEDs.

7:30 Yes, the plethora of cereals did make breakfast fun, and as we now know, unhealthy as all get out. But we were tougher back then and managed to survive and thrive on those sugar laden cereals. Can anyone even remember such a thing as food allergies? Me either.

Another good one. Great memories and presentation.

The "cutting boards" mentioned were also called bread boards that would pull out. When my dad remodeled our kitchen in the early 80s my mom made sure that feature stayed, and was modified with a thicker and heavier wood!

Even today, i love the lime green kitchen. Some of the kitchens are almost like now.

A fascinating look at 60's kitchens. Of course, i find pink appliances rather...strange. 😅

As unhealthy may of the cereals were it did brings kids to the breakfast table, before it was boring, shredded wheat - yay... but at least kids got something in them to keep them running til lunch. i hated capt crunch but i did love honeycombs. i went out to the school bus all hyped up and ready for the day

Unfortunately the story telling and the pictures don't match up! Still enjoyed the clips.

Those awful electric cooktops and vent hoods that didn’t vent outside.

These videos always forget that, in the 60’s, families had 4 or 5 children and only one income. These dazzling amenities may have been ‘out there’, but many, many millions of people in North America were just getting by. These videos always leave a false impression unless you actually lived at that time. A dishwasher in the 1960’s? You must be joking! And ‘sci-fi elegance’ leaves us baby-boomers rolling on the floor 🤣😂.
