Margaret Hamilton did a LOT of different acting roles, including several musicals on Broadway (Oklahoma!, A Little Night Music, Showboat), and soap operas (As the World Turns, Secret Storm). She also was a tireless advocate for education, and taught acting.

Cora knew where the crowds would be before setting up her legendary coffee stand. Get em hooked on Maxwell House out in the wild, then reel em in at the store. That is salesmanship.

She seemed like such a delightful person in real life, but was so mean as the wicked witch. Great actress!

I remember watching this commercial with my grandmother. After she said "do you know who that lady was"? I said no she said "that's the lady who played the wicked witch in the wizard of Oz." .Great memories.

When I was a kid, I was told "she was the WW in The Wizard Of Oz" ...I was like "Really, it doesn't look like her". I was around 5 or 6. ...Looking at these now. ...Duh, yeah It's her. Little kids can sure be dumb sometimes.

I always wanted to believe that Maxwell House's Cora was related to Edith Prickley (SCTV character, portrayed by Andrea Martin).
