We Camped in a Vintage Trailer @ San Clemente Beach

A review of "The Holidays" trailers at San Clemente State Beach. Located on a coastal bluff just steps to the sand are four 1970's vintage Shasta trailers that you can rent for the night. This is a great way to get rid of the distractions, have meals together, be outside from the moment you wake up, and let your kids be kids! Each rental trailer is equipped with a sink, refrigerator and stove top, as well as USB chargers, bluetooth speakers and solar powered lights. Rates are about $200 per night.

I like camping. Haven't done it since my childhood though.

This gives me a lot of nostalgia, because it reminds me of the old family vacations we used to have on the Croatian island of "Krk" (not a typo, hehe) back in the 80s. We would park my grandparent's trailer basically right on the beach and fall asleep at night to the sounds of the waves gently crashing against the beach and a slow and mournful rendition of "Quantanamera" wafting over the sea, from a pier night club on another beach.
Then you wake up to the crisp ocean breeze and take a morning stroll past the medieval harbor of a nearby town, full of fishing boats, to eat pastries for breakfast at one of the beach view cafes.
