That Walmart gamer dude was really kind and patient. Give the man a raise.

I really appreciate that you get 1 copy of these games and don’t clean out the store like some of the resellers

Leaving some scraps for the rest of the hunters

The change to game cards is just another dystopian nightmare where we can't even own copies of games. I hate the idea of game cards from a retro game culture and game preservationist standpoint.

That mass effect trilogy for 5 is crazy! I know it's a bit old now, but that is sooo much game right there it's hard to believe.

Unless you find an employee who is willing to lose their job, they are not going to sell $0.03 games.
Best case scenario is if you take games to self-checkout, and price goes thru without alerts.

That is terrible that stores are trying to force people to go digital. I do not like digital games. I only want physical copy games.

shoutout to the worker that scanned all those games... Great video as always

The electronic employees at my Walmart act like they hate everything about their job. 😂

Walmart is the retail industry leader. If they are getting rid of physical games for digital codes, that means the game companies signaled that this is the way forward and will affect all stores.

I was at Walmart not even an hour after your video dropped. Many of the $5 games already gone. Someone had inside information. 😅

Glad I seen this video last night Mr. Wrightway! I got my $5 deals at Wal-Mart this morning.

Those 3 cent games are supposed to be sent back to the distributor and selling them can get the employee in trouble for doing so.

I know Walmart stores will only consider price matching online prices if the online listing says shipped and sold by Walmart. They won’t price match 3rd party listings

I was just in my local Walmart and saw some good deals. The only reason I didn't get anything is because I'm doing a money challenge this month plus I'm trying to take steps to be debt free.

I ended up going to 3 different Walmarts and picked up Id guess 20-25 different games for about $200. I didn't get the best games though as they had already been picked over. Missed out on Nier, World War Z, etc. I had showed up to my local Walmart Wednesday morning to check, the employee acted as if I had no clue and was wrong, and show back up 2 mornings later to find it all picked over. I wouldn't put much stock into what that employee told Wrightway about physical games though. Unless he was the store manager, he likely doesn't have a clue and even if he was, he still may not have a clue. This could easily be a situation of Walmart clearing stock of inventory that isn't selling to make room, shrink inventory, change layouts, etc.

How'd ya hear about this Steve? haha. In my best Dwayne Johnson voice: "What can I say except, you're welcome!!!". Glad you were able to snag some deals brother.

Can concur that each Walmart is different, especially with Clearance prices. Had one in my area in Florida mark games not on their mod to $5 or $10 a couple months ago. And you got lucky with those 3-cent games, those are not supposed to be sold.

Super solid finds. I'm always peeking my head into the video game aisle on Walmart trips just to see if there's some markdowns. Good reminder to use the app to price check in-store.
