Policy breakfast on Disability Inclusive Parliament 2022

In partnership with IID, our project DARE (Disability Arts: Redefining Empowerment) held a policy breakfast on Disability Inclusive Parliament on 7 December 2022. The event focused on challenges and opportunities in ensuring inclusion and accessibility of persons with disabilities in parliamentary proceedings and policymaking, raising awareness among parliamentarians and staff about disability issues, as well as increasing representation of persons with disabilities in the Parliament.
Hear from David Knox, Director Programmes, Bangladesh, British Council as he talks about the British Council's initiative to explore the challenges and opportunities in the disability sector and disability arts in Bangladesh.
DARE is aimed at building understanding and confidence amongst the disability and arts sector in Bangladesh and bringing them together to bridge the gap between the disability sector and wider society.
