the battle of jakku would have been an epic way of starting the force awakens

I just want to thank this channel for not being click-baity and not making endless videos on Rey theories.

So Jakku was basically the Emperor table flipping the board when he lost?

I feel like this would've been an amazing scene in a Star Wars movie.

I would absolutely love to see a film that tells a story about Jakku from the perspective of the Empire. It could be a really neat way to humanize stormtroopers, TIE fighter pilots and Imperial officers. Most of it could be from the perspective of a particular Star Destroyer and maybe a group of infantry stationed on the surface. What they did with the Battle of Scarif in Rogue One was amazing and I'd love to see more of that but crossed the tone of 2004's Downfall.

Snoke on Palpatine's "chess" analogy:

"Sorry...WHO is the king in this scenario?"

I like how well all these stories connect with all the pieces of information about the battle of jakku it makes the universe feel so well connected and has a stronger sense of continuity then legends ever had

I would love to read these but Chuck's writing style is so poor I couldn't get past the first aftermath books first ten pages. it was written as it is written in text messages.

wedge moved his fighter into position. he liked the x-wings. he breathed heavily.

aughh!

They need to make their live-action TV show on this.

Starting with Emperor Palpatine's plots and schemes regarding the Unknown Regions (and possibly hints of Snoke) and telling the whole conflict of Jakku, and ending with the formation of the First Order.

It would be SO AWESOME.

1:47 This has been noted before but still... Rakata Prime. Why is it there? Perhaps we could see it in canon, even in ep.8? I really want KotOR to be canon again!

I will love if they make a movie on the battle, showing the true nature of war, both sides fighting savagely, ships falling from the sky.

Imagine Palpatine working out in a gym. UNLIMITED

Do you think in a few years when canon has more and more content, Legends material will just be forgotten about. Like something no one talks about anymore? The kids growing up now with the new canon will never know or care about Legends material.

Loved the image of the tactics showing the Imperial and New Republic navy positions! I wish Star Wars could make more content focusing on military strategy and combat. Hopefully Inferno Squad can develop additional material.
