Well done, just facts. This is the group set I have been waiting for, tech for the masses.

Nobody will race with these components so it is ok to shift a little slower. You will get used to it anyway. It makes it last longer and thats good.

What I really want to see is mix and match series stuff with cues. I know Shimano say they're incompatible, but i still want to see it.

Good video, I've just installed u6000 1x10 on my city bike and I've found the shifting to be very good, it shifts a bit slower than my 1x12 deore but a way to mitigate that is simply to spin the cranks faster.

I upsold a customer on cues 9 speed for their e-cargo bike. I was impressed how much quieter the drivetrain was when shifting to the smaller sprockets. I attribute this to the linkglide technology. I recommend it for any e-bike with mid drive motors.

runing my cues 10s u6000 for about 500km.. does the job quite well on an bbshd 52v

A mix and march between 11s components for sure, not only for the linkglide cassete and m5100 compatibility but also the other way around, using linkglide components with older generation "light-ish" cassettes, some sunrace 11-46 for example. It may not make sense with this particular derailleur, being high range, but it may be a good setup with a m5130 for example, if it works

Hi, i have sleep less night thinking of if shimano cues are compatible with other series like atus acera . Kinda mixmatch set up for lower speed. I hope u see my idea and i hope u can help me with that.

8:40 - I will definitely if the claimed 3x better durability is the case.

BTW
Does this crank spider (on a drive side) is compatible with an Octalink II BB?
At 1:35 it looks familiar (so does the puller at 1:58).

The LinkGlide XT shifter does not have double click upshift. They did not include since it was originally intended for ebikes.

This looks perfect for me. My Cube Reaction ebike with a 1x11 10-50T Deore 5100 cassette and derailleur is going great so far, but when it needs an upgrade I'll be going with this. Should bolt straight on to my HG freehub!

É possível usar só o pedivela Shimano cues FC-U4000 com o grupo Alívio m3100 2x9s ?

I just have upgraded my ebike from Alvio to Cues 9 speed (full cues package). Shifting is awesome but i'm not happy with the rear derailleur! Do you know if the Shimano CUES U6000 rear derailleur works with cues 9 speed?

Great Video and very informative.
I installed a 6000 series 2x11 on my hybrid 700 bike with 50/34T chainring. So, I installed the cues RD-U6020-11 and 11-45T linkglide cassette ( replacing 11-28T), the new cues shifter and linkglide chain. I agree the shifting is delayed but I am now used to it and after 800km it runs very smoothly.

Hi, has anyone tried combining the U6000 with M4100, if so, is there a difference between the cues switch and the m4100, does the m 4100 shifter just look more interesting or is the m4100 not very suitable for this?

I just built a winter beater bike with the 10 speed and 11-48 cassette. It definitely feels slower. But it works fine, most consumers won't even care

Great video. Love a cheaper but stronger drive system. Old school low tech brute strength. Just what I need.

Nice.... I think Shimano has made a good choice with drop bar brifters and road bike components coming soon. With much less stock to keep in the inventory going forward because of the common pull ratio and modularity of the design another obvious advantage.
I would use those cranks with a narrow wide single chainring and go ten or eleven speed on my hardtail using linkglide and U6000 CUES components.
I think the new crank design is excellent with the whole CUES line-up a winner. The linkglide cassette shifts slightly slower than Hyperglide plus but the added strength and longevity would make the shifts a moot point. The new modular CUES components are very robust and definitely a huge step up over Acera with a definite push towards the higher end of the component line rather than the lower end.
I haven't seen much if anything on anyone using or reviewing the new Shimano sealed bearing hubs yet as they are a complete change of mindset for Shimano. I love the U8000 brakes it looks like Shimano has hit it out of the park again.
With some Suntour Epixon front forks any build starts to become a great build with recreational riding and value for money in mind using CUES.
