Reaper DAW - Converting recorded audio into sampler instruments [MK Slicer, Sitala, Groove Agent 5]

I've been struggling with how to take the audio I've recorded and use it within a sampler VST such as Battery 4, Groove Agent 5 or Kontakt - and after a bit of trial and error I've found a workflow that works for me.

This also features using MK Slicer for splitting up an item by transients and immediately creating sampler instruments in ReaSamplomatic5000.

This also features using tools such as X-Raym_Glue to glue multiple separate items individually into new audio files.

This is definitely a video tutorial by present me for future me, but let me know if this is useful to you.

p.s. I accidentally recorded the spoken audio on the same channel as Reaper's audio, so the piano samples will be considerably louder than intended. Huge apologies!

Thanks for the video. Had been sitting with Sitala earlier today and thought it would be great if one could drag and import directly from Reaper items but didn´t manage to do that...
CTRL + ALT saves the day!

It seems that Sitala sometimes are able to recognize that an item may contain several sounds and automatically offers to slice it up and propagate them across the pads (one can select different slices afterwards if one wants). It doesn´t do it everytime though, I suspect it might be if the item lacks zero crossings or sharp transient peaks or something similar.
