Workflow Tip: How to organize VST Plugins inside Ableton
Now you know how to get your plugins in separate folders for quick access. By using shortcuts you can easily update plugins, avoid system registry problems and you can put them in multiple folders.
I have no idea if it works the same on MAC.

hey I selected a wrong vt folder now when I start ableton it always crashes while scaning vst folder. how do I fix that?

nice tip, unfortunately it doesn't help shell-based VST's like Waves Mercury pack, etc.
