Today is Janie Fricke's birthday! Janie and Ray have been friends for decades and even did a stint together at the Desert Inn in Las Vegas at one time. So, here they are together performing her 1981 hit song "Do Me With Love" live on CabaRay Nashville!

I love Janie's strong vocals. She was the jingle queen and strong on Circle K Lumber and Carsons.

I recall her from all of those recordings she put out in the 1980s. She was a cast-member on The Statler Brothers Show for several years, too, in the early 1990s. She and Rex Allen, Jr. were series regulars and participated heavily in the 'Yesteryear' segment.
