I think Joel means faes which are fairy type creatures that are mysterious, mischievous and sometimes murderous.

Joel.... you know how they updated the game and you are now able to put a lead on a boat? Well you can also put a lead on a chest boat, multiple chest boats all at once actually. Then you hop into a boat and tow the others, which are all full of your stuff... Which makes your journey only 1 boat ride long.

leaning into the concept of faerie "tricksters" would be really awesome! when you get around to adding npcs, maybe have some former adventurers who were tricked and trapped in the forest by the faeries 😋‼️

Hey Joel! In the crypt, one of the altars that ask if you're worthy, if you put a diamond block in it and break the pot inside of it it has a shulker box in it!

Fun fact: mushrooms are the reproductive organs of the fungus.

Joel, you could make a dungeon with unseelie fae (basically evil folklore creatures).
Reskined baby zombies could be redcaps, vexes could also be used.
