If she was an 'influencer', then I can say she has influenced me to not jump out of a perfectly good airplane!

Unbearable loss, her family must be devastated. This is something parents can't recover from. You'd have to bury me right along side my child.

Anyone can be an "influencer" nowadays, it's ridiculously weird how obsessed people get over complete strangers. Aside from that, it's sad this beautiful young woman died trying to live her best life! Praying for her loved ones 🙏🏾!

Every time I get the urge to go skydiving, I see or read one of these tragic stories. I’m gonna take that as a sign, and stay right here on earth…RIP Tanya 🙏🏼

She left the world too early. I don't know her but I feel sorry for her friends and family and send my deepest condolences to them at this time. That sounds like a painful death and it must have been so terrifying for her. I can only imagine how she must have felt. I hope she didn't suffer too much pain and that she is able to rest in peace knowing she's loved and will be missed. Sounds like the world lost an incredible person. I think it's really cool she was studying philosophy. She would have made a great philosopher. I hope she gets all the answers she was looking for through philosophy up in heaven now. May she rest knowing she's loved.

Here I am sitting in my home feeling comfortable. Its the small things we take for granted. I don't know who she is but she was so young. You're only just beginning to enjoy life as a young adult at that age

I don't think I heard them mentioning a critical detail. She only took one practice jump with an instructor before she was allowed to go by herself. I think I read the facility is cooperating with investigators. Sad all around.

"influencers" aren't the smartest people to begin with

Skydiving is no joke and sometimes people take it to lightly. When you jump you experience so much adrenaline and endorphins that you can get lost in the dive. As you fall you build up momentum and what seems like plenty of distance can become seconds from hitting the ground. It's imperative that you skydive with a partner or instructor, especially in the early stages of learning.

It's awful she died like this but she was testing the boundaries of mortality by jumping alone and unxeperienced. It's part of the human condition to test our limits and sometimes we pay the ultimate price.

My condolences go out to her family.

My coworker lost her beautiful daughter in a skydiving accident also at 21. It was heartbreaking watching the pain of her losing her daughter and she was never the same. May Tanya rest in the sweetest of peace.

My Condolences..

That being said I’ve gone skydiving a couple of times and the thing is before any skydiving company allows you to do it on your own you have to take EXTENSIVE Training sessions w/ trained and qualified professionals, you also have to do multiple tandem jumps. It almost sounds like whoever this woman jumped with didn’t follow protocol at all and they should be looked into..

My husband started taking sky diving classes about 4 months ago. He did multiple jumps by himself & really enjoyed the sport. However, after someone he knew got seriously injured, he began to reconsider the risks versus rewards. He hasn't jumped in over a month. A decision I'm glad he made! I'm so sorry that this beautiful soul lost her life. So sad.

Why is everyone so fixated on the fact that they called her a “influencer” like social media isn’t one of the biggest things currently in society where everyone has a opportunity to be one. Instead of judging this woman who literally had her life taken away from her, do something with y’all lives

This why it’s better to deploy the chute early I’d rather just take my sweet time to land and not try to rush it.
Just overall really sad

Her being an influencer, she's truly influenced me not to take skydiving lessons that I actually was thinking of
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace ❤️

Skydiving, roller-coasters, cars, aircrafts, house appliances literally everything kills us.
