Wow, I did not know this info. I am looking to buy my council house with right to buy at some point. I was just about to start the ball rolling with it all...but then inflation and mortgage rates etc have gone up and it made me stop and think about it. Mortgage rates going up is a concern. It sounds great, but remember you still have to pay the mortgage on the remaining value, so if you cant afford the legal fees to get started, how likely is it you will be able to afford the mortgage payments
