From my experience gta rp is fun once you understand the basic rules like picking on another player, running them over for no reason and talking with a player on discord despite them not being in game I tried grand rp for the experience then went ahead and tried fivem it was hard coming up with a backstory for my character in the application or explaining to them why I wanna join the rp server that I'm interested in but after learning everything it became very fun

So to explain the different types of rules in roleplay servers, you have the primarily "free" roleplay servers.

These are typically ran by a small group of people, or even a huge group of people, who have very minimum rules. Things like not using slurs or something. Popular on Economy based servers.

Then you have your "semi-realistic" servers. The servers are primarily based around roleplay and most of their rules reflect roleplay but want their Community members to have a good time as well.

Then you have hardcore realistic servers, these servers are primarily 100% realistic or at least they strive to be. The rules include things like price limits on vehicles, character backstories as a requirement

The thing that makes me NOT want to play is the fact that I have no RP experience, so when it comes down to filling in that "interview" form, I get stuck and put myself off of applying. However, I'm positive I'd be good at RP.
