Nobody seems genuinely very happy, despite what they say. The three people at the centre of the story seem miserable and living in a kind of state of denial. There is obviously a strong sub/dom element to the puppy/master dynamic. I feel like this is what is at the heart of the whole thing, and the gay subculture element, and if that's your thing, good for you. I hope it makes you happy. Tom strikes me as being selfish, but also just really lost.

I feel bad for him because even though he does look happy to a certain extent, I can't help but wonder what must have happened for him to end up this way because you can say whatever you want but there is no way that someone who did not go through traumatic events will end up like this. and just because it's not hurting anyone it doesn't mean it should be normalized because he seems to have some sort of issue that he needs to address.

10 years ago, I had a SIR that initially told me that he wanted to be my handler. When he decided that he felt weird and the scene in public such as a gay bar, he never told me till after the break up. That killed the entire leather/kink scene for me. In essence puppy Duke (myself) died that year. Since then I developed bad hips, so I can't do pup play anymore. I'm so happy that people can continue to role play in the kink. At no time did I have issues in childhood. Don't be crass with that.

Don't judge them rudly, i wonder how much traumas they had to endure as a kid to be fucked up like that as an adult, i feel compassion & sadness for them even if i totally disagree with their behaviours.
The guy who like to sleep in a cage (klaus schwab love this :) just look as his eyes and you see a profound sadness.
We don't put dogs in a cage in my family cause they are part of the family as we are taking care, love and protect each others.
Almost everyone played when very young the fox, wolf, rabbit, whatever but we grew up...
