Mrs. Castro has invited one of her daughter's classmates over for a play date. When the girls find out who is coming over, they get upset with their mother. In their eyes the boy, Francisco, is the biggest dork in school, but in reality he's just a kind child with autism. Instead of being nice and behaving for their house guest, as their mother implored them to, the sisters go into full-on mean girl mode and lock the poor boy in the closet where he has an autism freakout. As their mother is scolding them for their bad behavior, Francisco surprises them with his skills at solving puzzles and his amazing ability to make friends.

I myself am on the autistic spectrum and am proud of it.

I've struggled in live, and in some ways I still do, but I know that I'm no less of a person than anyone else.

I've dealt with bullying when I was younger, and now I don't tolerate it.

I can completely relate to Francisco and how he solves puzzles because I'm the same way with taking apart and reassembling model trains. This goes to show that although those of us on the autistic spectrum are different, we're also very gifted and talented with abilities that only we can do and most other people wouldn't know where to start. It's amazing to see what autistic people can do. :)

I'm glad that issues like this are finally being brought to light.

As a proud man with autism, I can relate to all of the cruel things people can do to them! It’s never easy dealing with it!

My 11 year old son has High Functioning Autism and this is one of the reasons I don’t let him go anywhere without me. If any one does this to him I’ll catch a serious case. Thanks for bringing this to light.

Those girls should be ashamed of themselves. I’m surprised their mom didn’t punish them for locking Francisco in the closet.

I am glad that the girls finally learned a very valuable lesson about doing unto the others thr way that you would want to be treated. They are very lucky that she didn't give them a severe punishment or ground them. I probably would have. But at least they apologized to the sweet boy. Bless his heart. He did no wrong. Some kids can be so mean to others. And it's one thing if they aren't raised properly but when your parents teach you to be kind and sweet to others, you really have no excuses.

This hits so close to home for me. Not only am I a person with various disabilities (both visible AND "invisible" disabilities, including Hydrocephalus & Epilepsy (which have caused & still causes some slight learning disabilities), plus moderate depression, & the chronic pain condition called Fibromyalgia.

The Fibromyalgia causes overall body pain, especially in my knees, hips, plus Neuropathy (pins & needles) in my hands & feet) myself, but I also have BOTH a cousin and a nephew who DO have Autism. I also have a cousin who has Down Syndrome...so needless to say being Special Needs runs in my family, mostly on my Dad's side, but my Mom also has some learning disabilities now (due to a work place accident 10 years or so ago) & she also has Fibromyalgia as well.

I can relate to this because I have autism as well. I'm not ashamed of it, though.

Definitely relate to this. I’ve had Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome since 1986. I passed the gene to my late transgendered daughter and it got easier for me.

Francisco has some fidget spinner with colorful circles. He appears to become some super
genius putting the whole puzzle together.

Francisco is amazing at solving puzzles since he likes doing them and knowing the number of pieces, no matter how many of them are there. He is very sweet, kind, and thoughtful after all. Then, a game of hide-and-seek goes wrong in the locked closet where he's there.
The puzzle montage of him putting it together is the best part.
