Here are my highlights from when my 2020 UK solo road trip took me to the beautiful Northumberland coast. Stopping off via the iconic Angel of the North, I stayed a few days in Dunstanburgh.

Northumberland boasts a rich history with many ancient castles to visit. I was fortunate to visit both Alnwick and Bamburgh during my stay. I also enjoyed a coastal walk from Embleton to Craster, taking in the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

With so many places to see along this breathtaking coastline, Northumberland is a county you must consider for a UK staycation.

Filmed September 2020 as part of a nine week solo road trip across the UK. Please follow current Covid-19 travel restrictions and stay safe.

Accommodation: Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel

I am watching this fom the prairies of Canada and so jealous because I was supposed to be here the first few weeks of July. All that has changed now because of Covid but we hope to be there in July next year. I guess I will just have to visit the Rockies again :(
Thanks for the video.
BTW Alnwick has a silent L and silent W ;)

Loved this episode Emily. It brought back memories of having visited most of the places, plus a few locations I haven’t seen, and a few interesting insights from you thrown in.
I love the style of your vlogs. Not too long, not too staged, a great balance of choreography and production with a natural feel that lets the viewer get the opportunity to feel like they are seeing the real you. Looking forward to more episodes 😁
