It's honestly insulting how they kept this as Milla's first stage, but didn't bother giving her a proper backstory and instead just gave us Mr. Stumpy to distract us from the fact Milla's backstory is still non-existent.

My reminiscing came around the 0:04 mark which is roughly the moment I discovered Milla's puppy float. It reminded me of the flutter jumps from Yoshi's Island, and the clip of music right there felt like it could've been pulled right from the game. And let me tell you, that game was my freaking childhood. Milla is seriously adorable and melts my heart with her compassion, naivety, and just overall cuteness. I just wish there had been more to her story. Immensely looking forward to FP2 because despite her under-development, her play-style was right up my alley and she quickly became my favorite of the 3. I can't wait to see how much she's been improved!

I can tell someone on the music team played the SNES Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, because that melody at the 0:40 mark was pulled right out of the theme from the first level of that game.

I would like to talk about Milla in this comment.
You know, I'm simple man, I see an adorable character, I love them, and Milla is no exception. I love her gameplay style with SMB2 attacks and a pretty useful shield. Sometimes it can be a pain to go through a stage with that moveset, but it works. I also love how her Super Shield Burst can be used to speedrun a stage, you know the thing about "easy to learn, hard to master", that's what that technique really is.
For her character... I mean, she's adorable and that's enough for me tbh... she has all the other things like [insert sad backstory here] or how through the adventure she becomes a scared dog to a less scared dog, but nothing really that important. I would like to address other things like how lame there was nothing more about her backstory in HER STORY, or how the ending was anticlimatic because of her. But overall I still love her anyway.
I kinda gonna miss throwing green blocks on FP2, but overall, her moveset just got better in that game, so pretty nice.

In addition to some kind of throwback to the Sega Mega Drive Sonic the Hedgehog series, it's definitely got a hint of 1993 Sonic CD in it. And that can only be a very good thing indeed!
