2.2.2: Layout XML Files

very nice vid, i don't understand why i don't see your vids popping up on youtube more for magento 2 tuts.

does your course explain how to troubleshoot the displaying of blocks? it's a common issues it seems like, but not much info on it. basically i'm adding a block but it's not displaying anywhere and i don't see anything in the log files.
