Devourer of Gods Master Death Mode Fight (Melee, 1.4.4)

A dozen attempts, and I was able to defeat the devourer, a few attempts made me want to yank my hair out, but I managed to beat him before getting to the point of actually doing it.

My first time fighting Devourer of Gods on Death Mode: *HELP*

Now being quite experienced with the mod, DoG is a not too bad and an incredibly fun boss fight.

I love how the death mode fight is a cakewalk compared to the hell that is infernum

While unrelated to DoG or this fight, I would like to say that melee in calamity master death mode mostly poses the issue for me of being woefully inconsistent in terms of what good weapons with range you can get, and the true melee options dont have enough DPS to shred yet, currently at astrum deus, there are more good viable weapons after moonlord I hope

ive gotten used to dodging his first phase and his second phase, the only thing that gets me is that annoying grid attack, i can never dodge it

Idk other but dog is the boss who kills me the most after that I killer yharon in like 2-3 tries and exo 5 and supreme maybe 7 or more

i kinda miss how the old fight was structured, where between the first and last phase, you had to do a boss rush of all 3 servants. i wonder why they removed it
