Guys, just to clear up some misconceptions -- 4Story (aka Gates of Andaron) came out *after* World of Warcraft, not before.

This game is based off WoW - which isn't a bad thing. WoW is fun and this is similar to WoW but free to play.

what's the difference between gates of andaron and 4story? I play 4story since summer 2008 but I never heard of a game called like that. I know that theres a place and a song called gates of andaron in 4story but what's the difference between the two games?

If you didn't notice, this video was posted in 2009 and he referred to it as Gates of Andaron. Therefor the game WAS called Gates of Andaron in 2009 and was called that long before 2013.

Actually the game's name is both. the asian/european version is called 4story and the american version is called Gates of Andaron

@Jiglojay123 I do agree that Vindictus being instance based is a disadvantage, but it's only the beginning... It's the first MMO of it's kind and it's still very young in the MMO world (2 years or so) BUT it's on the source engine. As a source developer myself I know first hand that the possibilities are endless for that game, Using software similar to that seen in Left 4 dead they could, with some effort, succeed in making open areas to roam with respawning monsters to fight....

Guys, listen to me. I know people working with this stuff. Indeed, they don't look the same, but that's the point. Getting the same engine and editing it so you have a different game. Prototype and Spiderman 3, WonderKing and MapleStory, WoW and Runes of Magic. They both started on the same engine and ended different. So, again, admire the edits not the copies...

when i download the game it says 0/1.2 gb and says 20 mins remaining. is this a glitching or something? the same thing happens on firefox or my chrome

I have played this game 24  h per day i alkmoust didnt sleap how good it was, when i saw what they have done with 4 Story i was disipointed why the hell leap back when game was good, really miss this graphic and themes damm, what a game was ruined

for some reason it wont launch wen i get done with download and goto server update and click connect and it says start problems have occured at the hacking block function (204) how do i fix this?

the killing quests in this game suck at times so a tip is to team up with a party... especially since at time u need to do reps (repeat quests) to lvl up and those a mostly killing quests
