The officials made sure that Iowa would lose, and I'm not even an Iowa fan. I'm an SEC fan, but the truth is the truth. I have a feeling that Iowa would have absolutely ROLLED LSU had there not been the shenanigans. Worst officiated game I've ever seen. And it was purposeful. The refs didn't even hide it.

Without saying anything about the player antics on both sides of the ball, can we all just agree these were the worst, least competent set of referees ever to handle and important college basketball game. Their impact on the play of both teams was overwhelming, not sure if it changed the outcome, but this crew wasn’t worthy of an 8th grade game let alone the Women’s’ showcase. What level of politically correct politics was needed to pair this refereeing disgrace? They single handedly ruined an otherwise amazing tournament.

Interesting. Well with fame come scrutiny. It wasn't just the elbow that will come up. The flop for the first foul. Her running into her for the second foul with arms straight up? (none of that called in the game before) The elbow that was a foul. All are game changers

The officials killed this game. They kept CC from getting 40 to 50 which she certainly would have and they kept it from being a competitive game in the 2nd half. It was worst officiating I've ever seen in a championship game. And it was bad for both teams but it affected Iowa more obviously with Clark in foul trouble it changed the game. And 1 or 2 of those fouls were complete

That said I think Iowa would have lost by 7 to 11 points instead of 17 or whatever it was.

Thankfully Monica did not get her face broken in her final game. It almost looked like 2 Reese elbows on the replay. But you know if Monica did that to Reese it would be an intentional foul.

In real time it's a simple foul bang bang shoot the free throws. They shouldve fouled Reese everytime she made a play inside.. disruption of her offense

This is the worst officiated game in the history of basketball! Let's see now, LSU players were all black as were the referees! With that in mind I knew who was going to win this game even before it began! DEI has now permeated college basketball! IOWA didn't lose this game; the refs gave it to LSU! This is a clear sign of things to come in this upside-down country that we live in!
