Peace is a rare event - and that peace can be quickly upended by conflict. Long before the dark days, the world took the term “peace” with a grain of salt. Nobody knew what it meant, since humanity was focused on their personal needs. Governments craved for power in order to control others. Ultimately it leads to their downfall. After the event, more commonly known as “The Silent War,” wherein a corrupt nation managed to control the world after releasing a biochemical virus. Once countries were able to gain strength after taking such a huge loss, they fought back. Although the war ended, nobody won. Every nation was brought to its knees along with ashes, rubble, and smog.

As we know, mother nature can be quite unpredictable and unforgiving. A few years after the events of the war, Mother nature wanted to unify humans in hopes that they could help save the world instead of destroying it. The landmasses began to shift back to their original position, known as Pangaea. However, unlike the original formation, most of it was underwater due to the rise of sea levels. When landmasses began to shift, a series of earthquakes and tsunamis occurred, leading to billions of deaths.

Much like cockroaches, there were survivors, and civilisation began anew. All countries became unified and eventually became one nation known as Imperia. The nation was divided into 12 territories. Citizens of Imperia were relocated to territories based on their skills in order to rebuild.

T-1: Luxury
T-2: Masonary
T-3: Technology
T-4: Fishing
T-5: Power
T-6: Transportation
T-7: Lumber
T-8: Textiles
T-9: Grain
T-10: Livestock
T-11: Agriculture
T-12: Coal
For several decades, the territories had established a well-maintained flow. However, the territories were unaware of how greedy the Capitol has become. The Capitol grew favourites amongst some of the districts, thus making some of them live a comfortable lifestyle while the others were still left in the dark. The Capitol began to enforce more rules, such as no communication between the territories and The Capitol.

After years went on, people in the territories managed to receive information about how corrupt The Capitol of Imperia has become. After learning that The Capitol has been deceiving them all along by spreading lies about the nation being frugal of their resources, this infuriated the territories. One by one, the territories began to rebel. Although some territories did not fully rebel against The Capitol, this was the first time the territories grew strength in numbers and was able to slightly weaken the Capitol. Chaos was found in every corner of Imperia.

The Capitol still had control over one of the territories, which was T-2. Probably their best chance at keeping the rebels at bay. Despite T-2 being loyal, a fraction of it still joined the rebellion. This part broke off from T-2 and became what is now referred to the rest of the nation as T-13. This territory proved to be a huge threat, and possibly the key to winning the rebellion since this area kept most of T-2’s nukes. After several days of bloodshed in Imperia, the Capitol finally showed their true power and heavily bombed T-13. This set an example to the rest of the territories that even the strongest territory could not overcome the power of the Capitol. Therefore winning the war and bringing the territories to their knees. It is unknown whether or not there were any survivors in T-13 as all that was left was pure rubble and smoke.
The territories slowly returned back to maintaining the flow in exporting products to the Capitol and the rest of the nation. T-1 began exporting Luxury goods to the Capitol, therefore, being renamed to “Luxury.” Meanwhile, T-2 began crafting weapons on direct orders from The Capitol. Thus, being renamed to “Masonry.”

As punishment, The Capitol declared the Treaty of the Treason: In penance for their uprising, each territory shall offer up a 2 tributes between the ages of 12 to 18 at a public “Reaping.” These tributes shall be delivered to the custody of The Capitol. They will be transferred to a public arena where they will fight to the death until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore, this pageant shall be known as the Pyre Games.
